I’ve done the drop card tactics myself, and it really just seems to piss people off. In fact, throughout all of the offline stuff I’ve tried, online tactics have all worked way better. I wouldn’t even suggest trying drop cards unless you have a great source + a unique idea. It’s tough stuff!

I will admit some people will probably take it the wrong way but those people would not be right for your business anyway.
The drop cards could be used in a number of ways including as business cards or with a coupon on them.
The only reason I encourage using offline methods is because a lot of people feel like it is more productive to use offline methods and really haven’t learned how to leverage the power of the Internet but it does give you more options and keep the creative juices flowing when you think about what you are doing and continuously keep trying to make that breakthrough.

These methods are great for someone that hasn’t made the leap to leveraging the power of internet marketing. But in the end your time is better spent investing in online vs offline marketing as you will see a better ROI for your time.

You are right about that Jack but when it come to marketing you can shoot yourself in the foot by not being diverse and taking advantage of every opportunity you have.
Some people are more comfortable with offline methods and a true leader will be diverse enough to be able to help all team members.
